I honestly googled “good blog pictures” and this came up. At first I was like “what the heck.” because the rest of the pictures were like the word blog in fancy letters, but after thinking about I’m getting it (In my sense anyway)
I’m listening to New Life Church Worship as I sit and contemplate this picture. This may be why it involves Biblical principles. Basically this is what I get out of it. Every sinner is the pair of hands in the magazine. Chained up and bound with no where to go. Every devoted Christian is the pair of hands holding the book, free to move„ free to be, free to do. And I think that, on the other side of the picture, where the freed persons face and mind should be, we should think this about the face and life we cannot see in the picture… Us as Christians should be compassionately seeking after these people. Our hearts should be longing to take their chains for them, showing them that their burden can be erased and leading them to Christ.
So I challenge you to NOT walk past that person tomorrow whom you know for a fact has those chains around their arms, instead, approach them, give them that attention and love they’ve been searching for and show them Christ. This may be intimidating, so do it one person at a time. You don’t have to set a herd free everytime.
As Mother Theresa put it,
"Never worry about the numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you."
So, be courageuos, get out and change the world
"Live for eternity and you will leave a legacy in the temporary."
Until next time,
Be The Change
